Dallas born and no stranger to the fascinating world of late 80's and 90's pop culture, she exposed herself at an early age to music of all genres by sneaking into clubs to check out the music scene. The granddaughter of a baptist preacher, she was taught and sung gospel and R&B in the church every Sunday. Navigating to California to join her cousin's blues band, The Blues Denial, she soon decided she wanted to intergrate more of her early musical influences into her own music.
