Overview: Jab started writing rhymes when he was 11, but he did not get serious until he moved out of his dad's house and in with his mom at age 14. When Jab was 17, he and his mother moved to Flint, from the country. This is when he began doing shows, battling, and recording music. He was given the name "Jabber-Jaw", from his older brother, because he talked too much. He would eventually win several rap contests, both on the radio and in clubs, including his 14 straight victories in freestyle battles at JB's Nightclub
