In a genre with many copycats and lookalikes, G William Boyd is the real deal.

Born in 1993 during a blizzard in Dallas, TX, G William Boyd has always been the odd man out. G first started listening to rock music at age 10, particularly bands such as Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Led Zeppelin. It wasn't long before he started playing the guitar. The bands he looks up to are not just heavy, but original. Nobody sounds like them, and that's what makes their music great. Once G began modeling his songwriting after bands like this, he discovered the true power of heartfelt writing, and an original style.

After beginning to sing at age 16, he discovered an artistic voice that made sense, and his journey began. His debut E.P. "Different" was released February 12, 2013. Combining melodic songwriting with hard riffing, it's pure, against the grain, American heavy metal at it's finest.

Rock is an ever-changing genre, and the bands we remember, are the trend-setters, the ones who throw out tradition in favor of a new form of expression. One look at G William Boyd, and you may be witnessing the next trailblazer sooner than you think. ​
