Overview: The Soul Life is a project lead by Bobby Breaux from Houston, TX. Inspired by the Internet success of his solo release, Send Him On His Way to Me in 2009, Bobby started Writing and recording to produce an upcoming recording, Stormula, due to come out in early 2013. Bobby has toured regionally fronting his solo project when he lived in Austin, and fronting the Black and White, a Beaumont based band. Both bands experienced regional radio play and Bobby's solo project was popular in Texas, Japan and Europe. The song On My Way, Feeling Fine, is about surfing when I lived in San Diego. There was a swell coming in from Alaska and producing huge waves, really clean. When I went out that day, it was triple overhead. I didn't realize how big it was until I got out of the water and back up the cliff. I looked out and couldn't believe that I was actually surfing for the last 2 hours. It made me think about what could have happened and how important relationships are.
