Overview: Born in Melrose Park, IL to Maurice and Dorothy Williams, Elle was completely unaware that she would fall in love with music the way she did. The love first cultivated with classical music at the age of 11, where she first picked up the Clarinet. She immediately excelled at the instrument where she became principal chairs in 7th, 8th and 9th grade band. During her Freshman year in High School she met Shari "Done Deal" Davis, who introduced her to the songwriting and singing side of music. Elle had been a poet since the age of 8 and songwriting came naturally to her. She then wrote her first song "I Am Me" which has not been released but is still in the makings of recording. Since she felt that she could not sing that well, she switched over to rapping which was extremely difficult for her, but she kept writing, and excelled at the art as well. She currently has one mixtape out, entitled "Miss Understood: For Her," which is available on Datpiff, and is working on a second one.
