Overview: I am thirty three and have been writing for almost a year. I have entered two contests lately, one for vocals and one for writing. The vocal contest didn’t go as I hoped but the writing contest went very well. I don’t have a band but have had a couple of friends help me put the music to my songs. I have written over twenty songs and have had music put to four. I recently had a three track demo recorded and this was the better of the three I thought. The other two songs I hope to catch a better sound next time I can record them. My main goal is to someday be a full time writer and maybe give being a performer a shot but for now I am just concentrating on writing good songs. When I write I try to make a good story line and also catchy lyrics to grab the listeners attention. While the song that I’m sending in is kind of that fast party feel I also write many other styles. I hope yall like it.
