Overview: I play what I like to call "semi-psychedelic folk tunes." I use whatever is around me (old banjo heads, socks filled with coins, pillows, computers, old wooden tables and mallets) to make percussion to back up my voice, guitar, banjo, and mandolin playing. I like to experiment with sound. I tend to either create folky soundscapes, or just let the lyrics do the talking over a guitar line. Music is everything, and I just want to make people happy, though I sometimes sing about sad things. I've been in bands around Denver and Boulder for about 7 years. My first show was with a heavy metal band at Cervantes, haha. I've changed a lot over the years, and Lowlander is my first attempt at a solo project.
