Overview: THE ALUSKAS are a three piece rock 'n' roll band based in Dublin, Ireland. The band is made up of two brothers David (guitars / bass / keys / vocals) & Anthony Byrne (drums / percussion / guitar / vocals) and soul brother Philip Tinsley (guitars / bass / keys / vocals). They have been together in bands since their school days when they were known as The Willows and had a fourth member. After that band broke up (having previously recorded little know cult LP COLLAGE), THE ALUSKAS were formed from their ashes and a conscious decision was made to remain a three piece outfit. Going against the perception of most modern bands, THE ALUSKAS present themselves as three equal members, discarding the usual template of a frontman backed by nameless musicians.
