Overview: Maddy Rodriguez is an 18 year old singer songwriter whose music is New Country with pop sensibilities.Maddy began writing at 14. In 2009, when she was 15 she was awarded the "Most Pitchable" songs at Blair Packham (The Jitters) and Rick Emmett's (Triumph) SongStudio Workshop. Maddy's FACTOR supported 12 track debut album was produced by Greig Nori (Sum 41, Hedley, Marianas Trench) - with the exception of 3 tracks, in 2 of which Maddy was the co-producer. The album was recorded at Metalworks Studios, B Town Sound and Coalition Music Studios in Toronto.Maddy's songwriting talent caught the eye of Mark Jowett who signed her to a publishing deal with Nettwerk One (Johnny Reid, Sinnead O'Connor), when Maddy was 16.
