Overview: Danny Connolly is a singer/songwriter born and raised in New York. Danny developed a passion for music at a young age. He began singing at four years old trying to emulate his mother who is a well respected established singer and his father,who is a pianist and an arranger. He began writing songs at the age of fourteen shortly before joining a musical group. The group eventually split leaving him no choice to become a solo artist. He started recording and writing music out of his bedroom. He recorded his first individual demo at sixteen years old using nothing but a cheap studio microphone and a burning desire to succeed. His musical inspiration comes from listening to artists such as Michael Jackson, Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Luther Vandross, Musiq Soulchild, Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo, Maroon 5 ,and Robin Thicke. Danny loves making music, putting his heart and soul into his creations. He is a humble person who always believes there is room for improvement.
