Overview: The Dirty Clergy is currently a three piece music project of Brian Manasco (Vox, Rhythm Guitar, Drums), Joshua Pope (Lead Guitar, Bass) and Brad White (Vocals). Influences from such artists as: Alice Cooper, Neil Young, The Stooges and Nirvana have all fused as The Dirty Clergy expose their brand of rock and roll to the world.
Their first release, a 9-song demo, was recorded in late summer of 2010 and titled, 'Truth Wars'. It was enough to get the band shows all across the United States – from New York City to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. It also has gotten the band some airplay in the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa, AL area and on Indie104 in Los Angeles, CA.
The band recorded an EP with Strokes/Regina Spektor producer, Gordon Raphael, in February of 2011.
Their second album, "Revival" (the first with White on vocals) is scheduled for a November, 2011 release.
