Overview: I grew up in St. Augustine, FL. Music has always been a part of my life with my mother playing the piano and father singing in the church choir. At age 15, I began teaching myself guitar, cutting my teeth on bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Molly Hatchet, etc. After getting married and joining the Army a year later, I began writing. After leaving the Army in 1993, I began to seriously purse a music career. In 1996, I began writing for Split Publishing in Nashville, writing with heavyweights like Marty Haggard, Earl Bud Lee(Friends in Low Places) and Jeff Pearson. Still pursuing that dream, I currently live in Atlanta with my beautiful wife and five girls(and a son in the Army). My band, Red Velvet Mojo, is currently gigging around Atlanta and preparing to record an album project of my original classic rock and blues songs.
