Overview: I am a 26 year old mother of 2 fabulous little boys and wife of the most wonderful husband a woman could ask for!
I have recently recognized one of my dreams....I graduated in May 2011 with my bachelors to teach.
Now, I am reaching for another of my dreams....to have the world hear what I hear in my heart.
I sang all of my songs to my babies first, pickin out a tune on my guitar in my living room floor. Most of my songs are country, with just a hint of blues.
I hope the world likes them just half as much as those two little boys!!
My Momma always told me as a child "Can't never could do anything", so....I've put my 'big girl britches' on and am gonna accomplish another of my dreams....to write and sing to the world, just like I was singing to my sons!

From the time I can remember, I have been a writer. There was a need in me to put my thoughts and feelings down on paper… napkins, envelopes, and just whatever I could find. I wrote everything from short stories to poems, but it was in lyrics that I found the most enjoyment, and even my passion.
Lyrics to me was capturing the beauty of poetry and then gracing it with a melody.
I suppose that my love for writing songs went hand in hand with my love for singing, and after listening to my family (mostly my mother) telling me to put my “big girl britches on and just do it”. I have decided to share my love of music with others. For what good are songs in a notebook gathering dust?
My songs try to capture the spirit of emotion with the beauty of everyday life. I hope you enjoy!
