Overview: Music has always been a part of my life. I've been singing since i was in single digits and writing songs and poetry since i was around 12. I write mainly R&B. My voice has been described at sultry yet powerful, clear, soothing, velvety, and warm. I sing with a lot of passion. I come from a musical family. I was born and raised in Sacramento. After undergraduate school at MSU in Maryland, i moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to attend graduate school (and graduated with my Master's in Social Work in 2002) i began to perform on campus and sing backgrounds for local artists. Eventually i began getting gigs (studio and/or live background vocals) with major artists such as David Foster, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Jonathan Butler, Natalie Cole, and Bebe Winans. I've performed in 3 gospel plays and sung backgrounds on American Idol's 2011 Finale Show as well as backgrounds on Ellen(Josh Groban), the Tonight Show(Josh Groban) and Young and the Restless. I love singing&writing quality music.
