Overview: Hestyn is made up of four music students from Orange County. Formed in early 2010, the band went through a few personnel changes before agreeing on a unique sound and direction. They draw their influences from heavy-hitting but melodic bands such as Alter Bridge, and the Foo Fighters. The sound is based on a mixture of sweet and course vocals and heavy rhythms. Hestyn puts on one hell of a live show, and quickly energizes the crowd for a new rock experience for the predominantly scream-heavy So Cal music scene.
