Overview: THE FIRM is an Alternative Pop Band from Indonesia. Started by the same interested about music, The Bends with personnel’s are Odie, Aji, Ariel & Anay Ndut were lacked of personnel for vocalist and keyboardist position. Then they recruited Ipang & Ian from Gorgom to join to the group and made a new band. Retro and futuristic sounds built up the character of the band, the band then called THE FIRM. THE FIRM tries to give hopeless and dark feel in their music. Brokenhearted is something bad, but THE FIRM presents that bad things to be beautiful. In the songs, romantics and reality lyrics about failing in love are being one of their characters. Static’s vocal, classic distortion guitar effects, conservative harmonic bass, keyboard and synthesizer as pressure of the taste. The Firm inspired by The Smiths, Radiohead, Rialto, Sonic Youth, Morrissey, The Cure, Moby, etc.
