Originally from a small town in Ohio, Greg Burroughs is a 25 year old singer/songwriter now based out of Nashville, TN. He writes youthful songs about love, finding yourself, and the rowdy times along the way. His music is based in the country genre, but flirts with rock and even a little pop at times. Its uptempo and driving, with the energy to make you get up and dance, and when the time is right, there's never a dry eye in the house.
Over the past 5 years, he has toured extensively through the Northeast, covered southwestern Ohio, expanded into Kentucky and Alabama, sang the anthem at a nationally televised NASCAR truck race, played shows at several Minor League Baseball games, sang in the smoky honky tonks of Nashville's lower Broadway, and even filled up the Bluebird Café with his original music (written with some of Nashville’s most well known and successful songwriters). During this time, he also earned a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from the world-renowned Berklee College of Music.
This summer, you will be able to see Greg and his band in various cities across the country as party of the Extreme Country Stampede Tour (www.extremecountrytour.com) They will also be playing several dates on their own across the southeast and midwest.
