Overview: Born Krishand Severin in Miami, FL and raised between the Sunshine State and Caribbean, Just Kris spent equal time in the islands as he did on the mainland. Coming from a musical family, he took an interest in music as early as eight. At 10 years old, he started a soca/reggae band. At first, music was just his hobby. But he began to take it seriously when at 11 years old, promised his dying uncle what he would make music as a career. His rhymes paint with detailed dimensions the struggles and pains of his culture and community. But he also raps about the simple pleasures of life, chill vibes, positivity and love. His penchant for poetic wordplay and energetic stage presence allowed him to perform during BET’s Rap It Up Tour, and featured in international publications such as The Nassau Tribune News Paper. His group was featured on Riot Contract's Replacemet Killers Soundtrack.
