Foreshadow, a group of four dedicated muscicians who blend the core genres of death metal, black metal, old school thrash metal, and a minute level of metal core, as well as such mainstream influences as Metallica and Slayer, to create their own, unique sound, has begun to deliver their blend of lyrical and melodic genius to the world; foretelling the inevitable swell of this generation's appreciation of raw music and solid performances. Reigning from their infamous hometown of Tampa, Florida, Foreshadow uses their vocal and instrumental influences to comment heavily upon the lies now percieved as truth amongst the general population; specifically regarding the limitations that humanity has placed upon itself under the subversive influences of religion, politics, and propaganda. Foreshadow's debut album tittled "Nations of Failure" was written and recorded in 2008 at Dow Studios in Seffner, Florida. Foreshadow's debut album spawns an underlying homage to Cradle of Filth, Metallica, Acid Bath, and Nile, all of whom have served as inspiration for various members of the band. The album was released through Blastzone Entertainment in Feburary 2009, and delivered the group's ideas and collective beliefs which are saturated in a sense of self empowerment and individuality. In November 2010 they recorded their follow up ep entitled "The Stranger End of Death," at Spider Studios in Cleveland, OH with producer Tony Gamolo. With this new release and ongoing composition, Foreshadow looks to continue moving forward in a heavier direction. Founded in January of 2008, the band is no stranger to stage performance, having opened for such international death metal bands as Dying Fetus and TYR, playing Fall Fest in Miami, Florida, and a copious number of self promoted shows throught the south-eastern united states. Foreshadow is looking forward to performing internationally, and completeing a music video for the new ep's single "The Meaning of Life." The success of Foreshadow, presently and in the future of the mainstream industry, stems from their ability to avoid the pressures and standards of metal subgenres to dictate their visions and creative perogotive. Ultimately, the group wishes to inform, motivate, and enlighten the mind set of their fans and fellow listeners through transcending those subgenres in their writing, and touring internationally, which shall promote the unyielding possibilities that their music represents to them both as a band, and as individuals.
