Overview: Mystikjipsy… otherwise known as Cher J is a singer/songwriter/actress/dancer born of musical background and Native American/African American heritage in Hartford, Ct. on May 20, 1975. One of the main qualities she finds in her vocal presentation is the ability to be widely diverse. Cher J is a firm believer that music truly derives from the heart of the performer. She has been musically influenced by great artists such as her mother Koko Conley, Madonna, Enya, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Nicks, Sade, U2, and Prince just to name a few. Her other talents include experience in ballet, modern and African dance starting at the age of 14 and ending at the age of 17 with the Pinellas County Center for the Arts located in St. Petersburg, FL.
