Overview: Defined by his raw passion for hip-hop and urban soul, Lamont Duverne, A.K.A. Young Gullie, hails from the San Fernando Valley. Experiencing a turbulent childhood, Young Gullie turned to music to escape his lifes obstacles. It was this escape that enabled him to develop his skills as a lyricist and at the young age of thirteen it was evident that hip-hop would play a significant role in his life. After graduating from high school, Young Gullie decided it was time to get serious about his future. While most of his peers moved on to college and the military, Young Gullie kept his focus on hip-hop. With school now out of the way and his eyes on the prize, he was determined to make music his career. Young Gullie is currently working on his second album, The Fresh Prince of Valifornia. With a signature sound, The Fresh Prince of Valifornia aims to introduce the rest of the world to the unique style and intricate lyrics of Young Gullie.
