Nina Bailey

Overview: As a child, Nina was exposed to various styles of music such as hip hop, R&B, Pop, Reggae, Dance Hall, Soca, Calypso and Gospel. She grew up listening to great artists like Smokey Robinson, Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, Marvin Gaye, Toni Braxton, Beres Hammond, LTD, The Force MDs, Mtume, Ready For The World and Tamia. In fact, Tamia was one of her favorite singers. Now in 2011, Nina has broadened her reach working with multi-platinum producers Prestige (Bad Boy Hit Man, Jay Z, Notorious B.I.G., Lil Kim, LL Cool J, Foxxy Brown, Faith Evans, Total), Doc Ish (Eminem’s “We Made You”), Mo Diamonds (Tupac’s “Dear Momma”), Kool Aid (Raheem Devaughn), The Track Pros and many others. When asked about her writing, Nina responds; "My passions are to write lyrics that people can relate to and sing songs that make people feel good." Even though music is Nina’s passion, she set out to open herself to an educational experience that landed her a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies.
