Overview: We are here to save Real Hip-Hop! The Name is Solitary Minds, and we are 3 emcees (J-Mo, Scandal, Apollo 7) from the Bay Area. We have been making music together since 2001, and have only gotten better! Our producer, Scandal, has produced tracks for: Aesop (Living Legends), The Jacka (Mobb Figgaz), Big Rich, Dip Set, and many more well known artist. We write our own stuff, as well as produce our own tracks. We call ourselves Solitary Minds because we’re not your typical hip-hop group. We don’t rap about materialistic things, drugs, alcohol, killing people, and other stuff that “sells.” Our music sticks to the fundamentals on which hip-hop first started with, a positive message that brings people/cultures together and honors the elements of hip-hop (b-boying, graff writing, turntables, and music). This is not fast food/recycled/bubble gum music. We don’t do music that’s only popular for a minuet, we make music that stands the test of time!
