Ironic enough, a failed attempt in a rap cipher is what gave him the initial push to pursue music. Educating himself with the entire blues and doo-wop genres, CCEREAL became grounded in hip-hop’s roots of R&B, soul and funk. In 2008, CCEREAL was introduced to the LOFT music program in Toronto, OH. The contribution of catchy hooks and charismatic verses lead to CCEREAL’s first single “Hot Gurls” on the LOFT Vol 2 CD in 2009. CCEREAL released The Transit City Mixtape in 2010 featuring the hit single “Life Without A Car SUCKS”.
