Overview: From their beginning in the 1990’s, Second Nature has evolved from playing mostly covers tunes into what is now one of the area’s most dynamic and creative acts. “Diversity has truly been our underlying strength…” Says Ed Piedra, guitarist, vocalist & founding member of the band. “We have two lead female and one male lead vocalist to choose from when deciding how to best perform. It’s that strong vocal harmony that helps us maintain an original sound while drawing on our influences that keeps us simultaneously both fresh and classic.” Starting with early weekend performances in the Western Springfield / Hartford Metro, Second Nature’s first demo tape was a free giveaway to fans and bar owners (1994’s Second Nature vs. Godzilla) that contained 4 covers and 6 originals.
