Overview: TONY SWING Juan Antonio Morales, otherwise known as “Tony Swing,” was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, of Dominican parents. He arrived in New York at the age of 3 and was raised in Washington Heights. Dominican merengue can operate at speeds so superhuman that the grace requisite of its dancers is nothing short of miraculous. It's as if the dance floor itself becomes energized by the vigor of a performing dynamo like Tony Swing. Swing spent over a decade fronting internationally renowned merengue outfits (Pochy y su Cocoband; Oro Sólido) before turning to film work and a solo career. The diehards will be out in force to see what new tricks he's going to unveil in his recent return to the limelight. The Swing Is BACK!
