Overview: After years of playing, writing and touring, with other groups Alan Brisendine (Drums, Sax Keyboards), Justin Cain (Lead Guitar, Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Vocals) and Ed Carlberg (Rhythm Guiter, Lead Vocals, Lyricist) came together to form The Durham Crossing Project. With collaborations from Chris Tidestrom and Al Pulgliese, the band set off to offer Charleston SC their original version of Rock, Country Rock, Southern Rock and Blues songs. With so many venues allowing performers to play covers without benefit to the original songwriters, we decided that playing only our originals, though limiting opportunities, is the right, ethical way to go.
