Born James Aaron Foster, A-natural has accomplished many things in his young life as an independent gospel singer, a talented producer, gifted songwriter, and entrepreneur. Having released 4 independent albums, and, with his company BlockStars Production Studios, cultivated the careers of several artists, the time is ripe for A-natural to truly step out into the mainstream as a brand new artist.

Embarking on his first non-gospel release, A-natural is creating a new genre that not only fits into his forward-thinking personality, but allows the listener to hear something unique and familiar at the same time. Aligning with Trak Fire Productions (Tonex, Mindless Behavior, RacqDolo), A-natural is working on what he calls his true “first” album entitled Natural City. A project that literally spurred from simple creativity, this album chronicles a story of love, loss, and everything in between while taking its direction from the Korean sci-fi movie of the same name. With intense strings, tribal beats, and soulful harmonies, A-natural brings something very different from his past work to the table in what he calls “sci-fi soul.”

Having recently released his “appetizer EP” ...songs about you to rave reviews and plenty of downloads, A-natural is forging ahead with shows, appearances, and even visually-striking captures of this epic Natural City project. Heʼs looking to garner a different kind of attention, one that focuses not only on the artistry, but also on the message that change is good, growth is essential, and dreams are still attainable.
