Overview: Started in 2006, August Circle formed after the split up of the band OUTSIDE. The name came from ashes of our burned down home. We were looking at an old photograph of our old practice room and above on the banister was a street sign saying "August Circle". August Circle was old route 23 and the main highway we all lived off of. The new highway was also known as "Country Music Highway". We wasn't a country band so we felt it would give our group meaning if we choose the road less taken. August Circle's sound is a mix of grungy chug rythms, followed with hospitality southern rock lead breaks. We incorporate a lot of acoustic guitar, and generate a lot of deep bass and drums to our ensemble.
