Overview: Spring Entertainment consists of five individuals: CMP (manager/ombudsman), Drew Skills (MC), Jay-Man (MC), D.B.ILL (MC/producer) and Steve.Be. (MC). Drew is lyrical, Jay-Man is the hype man, D.B.ILL is the go-to-guy (beats, rhymes, he's down for the cause), CMP handles business, and Steve.Be. is the show. We make real hip-hop music. We're lyricists with energy and purpose. We respect the industry, ourselves, and the craft. It's not about the beat, the lyrics, the message, the spirit, the intent and/or the delivery--it's about all of those at one time. The hungriest crew in the 7 Cities right now is Spring Entertainment. Fresh from the Ocean Lakes subdivision of Virginia Beach, Virginia, the beginnings of the Spring reach back to 2002-03. We were all students at Ocean Lakes High School, some of us in Honors classes, others in detention, but we all loved Hip Hop music and wanted to pursue it in some form or fashion. We're still building, slow cooking, but I guarantee you'll enjoy.
