Overview: Billy "Harp" Hamilton is a veteran singer, songwriter, and frontman who began playing music in his hometown of Hamilton, Ohio, in the 1960s, in the wake of the British invasion. His music is a unique hybrid with roots in blues, soul, rock, R&B, pop, jazz, and country. His orginal compositions have appeared on both British and American compilation CDs. A dynamic, crowd-pleasing performer, he has played various cities and venues in the US, Asia, and Europe. From 2006-2009, he lived in Europe and toured in Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, and the Czech Republic. He is now based in Springfield, MO, but considering relocation to Texas, which has the reputation of the best live-music state in the US. Billy Hamilton has recorded four indepenendent CDs (two studio and two live), but remains currently unsigned.
