Overview: The band consists of Ben Grant on drums, David Hall on guitar, Chris Mckeown on bass and David Tyrrell leading the band on guitar and vocals. This talented array of musicians sparks together the band named The Soviet. The boys are set to be releasing their second single "Breaking Bread" in August 2010, with two promo videos booked and a handful of massive magazine campaigns in place to promote the ’19 Hours’ album release in September 2010. The general feel from The Soviet's offering is an aggressive indie rock groove with some powerful drumming and sweet harmonies. The stand out song on this album has to be "Breakin Bread". Kicking off with a chunky riff complimented with pounding drums, bass line and a silky lead line develops into a bouncing verse and melodic chorus. From the first note to the last this band will grip you and take you on a musical journey past the monotonous jangle that the majority of bands currently on the scene produce.
