Overview: Alexandra Demetree's music career started at the age of two when her grandmother "hired" her to stand on the pool table and sing Christmas carols for her bridge group. That did it... from that moment on, Alexandra hasn't stopped singing! Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Alexandra grew up listening to everything from Motown to country to her favorite belty divas. She performed in musicals, choirs, and dance recitals, and took advantage of every opportunity she could. Some of these included performing for First Lady Barbara Bush, singing at Walt Disney World, and soloing the National Anthem at the Toyota Gator Bowl. Eventually, though, fate took Alexandra to Northwestern University, where she continued to grow as an artist. After graduation, Alexandra promptly moved to Music City to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a recording artist. This is the culmination of all of Alexandra's hard work and determination.
