Overview: Tin Apples is an alternative/experimental band out of pasadena tx. Founded by childhood friends and longtime musical collaborators JD Schwarz and Nicolas Hunt, (on the guitar and skins respectively) and completed by the later addition of the bassytones of Bobby Soto and creamy beige of Peter Huizar's six string. All but abandoning the norm, Tin Apples foregoes the status quo's approach to music, often informed by peers that they're a essentially a veritable "lemon party of sound", because instead of emphasizing the ordinary focus on the lead guitar and vocal aspect of the music, they favor their own, different approach to what emphasis ought to be. Musical influences range from Sigur ros and Broken social scene to The Chariot and Every Time I Die, encompassing, or at least briefly touching on all things in between. We hope you like it.
