Overview: The Getaways are an alternative rock/powerpop band from Baltimore MD. The band was formed in 2007 and since then has created quite a list of accomplishments. They have performed at some of the largest venues in Baltimore such as Rams Head Live (4 times), The Recher Theatre, Bourbon Street Ballroom, Sonar, etc. The band has opened for many national acts and has been featured in national magazines. Their music has also been featured on both ESPN and local baltimore station 98 Rock (97.9 FM).
