Jeri Mask (J-Mask) born in California, and raised in Richmond, VA met Robert High (Yung Tree) of Richmond, VA at the age of 4. Quoting Lil Bow Wow and Nelly lyrics everyday eventually led to them writing their own. As they matured, Hip-Hop icons Lil Wayne and T.I. became their true inspiration. JandTree's ability to create appealing music is what makes them stand out. Although their music is catchy, it is also heavy on lyrical content. The two twenty year-olds audience ranges from young teens to older adults. New to the game but veterans to the music, J-Mask and Yung Tree are ready to take it to the next level.
J-Mask and Yung Tree both grew up in Richmond, VA. Their music can be described as energetic, real, and fun. The group most closely resembles a younger version of "The Clipse", delivering emphatic punch lines over hard beats yet capable of delivering more than just swag. Already featured on numerous Mixtape Radio Mixtapes in Richmond, VA, the name JandTree has created positive buzz. Their debut mixtape “Next Up" is receiving tremendous feedback with well over 1,000 downloads. Next Up can be found on JandTree.com as well as Datpiff.com. While also balancing college, this group is definitely one to keep a close watch on. From writing hooks, songs, and producing beats, these boys offer an all around package with industry staying power. For Bookings and other info contact D-Erv, 804-307-9526 or hevywate@gmail.com
