MJ - CEO/ President
MJ was born in 1978 out of Bainbridge, GA. As a child, MJ watched and listened to his father sing and play piano in his home. Inspired by his father's talent, he naturally picked up the talent of making music as well. By the age of 12, MJ was a member of a local church and choir in his hometown. He then began playing piano and singing for churches locally around the community by the age of 13. In 1996, MJ graduated high school and joined the U.S. Navy for 8 years. While serving in the military in Virginia, MJ decided to take his music talent to another level. MJ began studying and learning the business aspect of the Music Industry. In 2000, MJ started up and opened a small independent record label, " Kru Records". MJ managed to put out a few underground albums while Kru Records was in operation. One of his underground hits titled, " What U think" was a underground hit that circulated in the streets of Virginia (757 area). In 2004, MJ closed down Kru Records to reorganize and expand in his own personal acheivements in other fields. After being satisfied with his personal acheivements, MJ came back to his first love and started, The New Kru Records. MJ talents are: producing, writing, singing and rapping.
