Overview: Se'les the Artist. My birth name is Latosha C. Ellis and I was born to sing. I am a singer/songwriter and most important a mom. I grew up in the city of robbins and I currently reside in Illnois. I graduated kellar middle school; and went on to receive my diploma from Dwight D Eisenhower in 2004. After high school I decided to try college at Moraine valley. I finished my first year and realized my heart was in my music. I started pursuing my music career by singing at my church and performing at various open mic nights through out the city. My interest in music started at the age of 2. My grandmother would always sing to me and my twin sister. I was always the one trying to sing just like her. I would stand in the mirrur and imitate her voice or any voice I would hear at church. My grandfather taught me different keys to sing in and how to get from one note to the next with a smooth and flawless exchange. He would play various keys on his guitar and had to follow him in harmony. At age 8 I joined a community
