Overview: My name is DonDiego, and I am a independent singer/songwriter from Chicago. I'm 25 years of age and a father of 1. I have been writing music since I was a freshmen in high school (Leo h.s.). The inspiration for my music derives from living everyday life in the Windy City. From the adversities I see that we face on a day-to-day basis. The streets of Chicago aren't a joke anymore. Not just Chicagoians, but the "WE" as a human race. The wholesomeness of real music is quickly fading year by year, and I, in my every attemp, will not settle until my message is heard. Much respect is given to others similar to me, but why should we be dumped-down by catchy beats and new dance steps? Sure thats what the people "want", but what about what they need? As cliche' as it sounds, all of my music is written out of self-experience and life's lessons. I guess I really do wear my heart on my sleeve when I step on stage.
