Marsalis “Yung Mar” Taylor was born July 19th, 1989 in Newark, NJ and raised in Scotch Plains, NJ, a small suburb in central jersey. Taylor started his rap career at the tender age of fourteen and with each year has continued to develop his lyrical skills ability. He has a gift of creating catchy hooks for not only himself, but for others he ghostwrites for. His delivery has improved as well, citing his improvement with his new ability to memorize his verses without writing a thing down, allowing him to focus on his flow. At the young age of 20, Yung Mar became the President of A-List Music Group.
