Overview: The Electric Authority has been collectively grouping for the past couple of years, from seekers leftover from Briley, Wake Paradise!, the Blue Curtain, and White Turtle who are looking to take on a more serious, mature project. The band stems locally from Grapevine, Bedford, and Fort Worth, and is influenced heavily by Jimmy Eat World, Mew, Foo Fighters, Coheed and Cambria, Weezer, Hum, Shiner, and Traindodge. There are wailing and original solos, recurring melodies over changing chord progressions, ever-so-slight key signature and time changes, pounding rhythms and dancing synth parts, all laced together to create exactly what each songs needs to hit home the hardest to the nearest ear.
