It all started in the early 80's, growing up in the rough streets of Chicago, when I was introduced to music from several different genres, lifestyles and cultures! From a very young age I developed my talent for singing several different styles of songs in English and Spanish, from old school Rap, R/B, Soul, Rock, House & in Spanish, Romantic songs that were popular in those times, from Baladas, Mariachi, Boleros, Cumbias, Salsa & Merengue to name a few!!!! I grew up listening & watching Soul Train back in the days and Sabado Gigante as well, but I didn't get the opportunity to contest or perform at an early age, nor the classes to learn the instruments I wanted to play better. (Guitar, Piano & Violin)

Between the ages of 6 & 9 years of age, it was as if the art of music followed me wherever I went while living in Chicago, but the gang wars, drugs and gun activity, that were rampant throughout the 80's, were the reasons that my parents decided to move me away from all the violence. Then, in 1989, I had to relocate to a very unexpected place; (Mexico) and it was there, that I first started to learn what it took to tour, since my uncle had a band and was also the lead singer, so I went along and got the chance to play my first instruments during concerts; (Huiro & Conga Drums). Unfortunately, I had to move to a nearby city in order to go to school and finish the sixth grade, so that made it more difficult to continue, and the age factor was preventing me from singing, which is what I wanted to do more! But, I continued to listen, learn and continued to sing!

Then, in the early 90's my parents moved to Florida, where I was introduced to Country, 90's Rock, Hip Hop and Texas Style Nortenas. By the age of 14, I developed a liking to several different genres, because as I say; "music is an art that has no boundaries, regardless of culture, gender, age or the color of your skin, because music has no discrimination", and that is why I did not limit myself to what music I listened to growing up, nor the the style of music that I bring from the HEART, influenced by the music that was being played wherever I went throughout my life.

By the time I was 20, I began to build upon my talent of Lyrical Poetry, and started to write songs & poems from the HEART to develop into a complete song, but I never had the opportunity to get noticed, and after 10 years of working hard, developing and solidifying my talents, I decided to make my opportunity happen, so I started to record music!!!!

In 2008, I decided to continue my education and better my skills, so I enrolled in college (Music Production & Sound Tech. program), to learn the final piece to properly produce songs, as well as audio engineering techniques, and hands on experience, with involvement in a music production setting, to go with my singing & songwriting skills.

During my first year in college, I successfully passed all my courses covering; The Music Business, Audio Technology, Music Theory, Acoustics & Psychoacoustics, Midi Technology, Entertainment Technology & Audio Visual Technology. Moreover, I will be finishing my debut album during 2010, which is titled; "As My Life Is - Asi Es Mi Vida" , that will have several different songs written by me, and as I say; "will not be limited to a specific genre, nor industry standards that take the art out of music, instead of fortifying it"! Furthermore, I started a label; OROD Entertainment, to publish, record, and release my intelectual property!!!!

As 2010 arrived, I moved to Atlanta, and transferred to a university to finish an A.A. In Business. Moreover, I self-released the first recorded song I produced when I was starting to record, the debut single titled; "The Journey Through Life" written, arranged, produced, recorded, mixed and performed by myself, with profound lyrics and natural vocals from the HEART (NO AUTOTUNE), and an urban percussion mix to the arrangement approach, appealing to a couple of genres!!!! The song is about the relentless pursuit of an objective, and the determination and focus to accomplish goals, regardless of what others do, think, or say! At the start of this decade I declare that no circumstance, problem or set back will hold me back from my destiny, a destiny I will mold with my decisive action to make my opportunity happen one day!!!! Oh, and my age is 30!!!!
