TOI.GICHIE SURVIVES LIFE THREATENING CAR ACCIDENT


There is a new "Toi" on the market. At the break of each decade or millennium, there comes something new and ground breaking that has the entire world at it's feet. Now, in 2010, such a significant emergence has occurred and the name is "Toi.Gichie" aka Toian or Toi, a female singer, songwriter, performer, arranger, composer and producer who is a member of the ASCAP organization, and also does graphic designing. Meet Toian Gichie, born on September 21, 1991 in New Jersey, grew up in Montego Bay, Jamaica and is now in Miami, Florida studying Music Business and Production.

Toian is a survivor of an accident in January of 2009 which easily could have left her paralyzed from the waist down, or even more. She suffered a fractured sacrum, and currently has metal pins in her left leg from a bone that had been broken in 3 places. But now, she's in her final stages of recovery and "Singing in the rain, and dreaming about rays of Sunshine". Sunshine is her debut single which was composed by herself, co-written by her & Charlotte Spence aka Charli and co-produced by Calibur Entertainment, who is currently her production team.

Toian's destiny is clear, she now has her eyes set on her meteoric rise within the music industry where she is destined and expected to surpass all expectations and bring a fresh sound, look, and style to the business. Toian is the new phenomenon to hit us as we journey into the new age. She has taken on her long time mentor since 2008, Brian Hugh of Rockwildaz Entertainment as her manager, booking agent and publicist and with his current track record, we can look forward to seeing Toian grow from strength to strength.
