We are two Texas boy's that met up in Utah due to our duty assignments, why else would anybody come here. My name is Terrance Reese a.k.a. T-Reese, and my group mate, whom I also call my brother, is Gregory Tarpley a.k.a. Yung Star. We met at a club on base, Hill AFB to be exact, and noticed each beacause of our dancin. Not jus any dance, we was Jiggin. Commonly known as Dougie'n, the Dallas Boogie, or Workin. This type of dancin originated in Texas which is why we were able to point each other out. Our dancing is what introduced us and brought us together. Then one day while I was recording a song of my own, Greg stopped by my dorm room and said "Fool I didn't know you rapped. I been wantin to rap since I was little!" From then on it was history. We started recording in my room to beats that I made myself, on my laptop with a computer mic that sat inside a box insulated with foam. Our quality wasn't the greatest but we didnt care, we were building our dream. We first went under the name of Young South, a name another friend of mine and myself came up with long before me and Greg met. Then we later changed our name to Strictly Thowed, because of an idea I had while we eating pizza. It went exactly like this. I said to Greg, " Man we need to chang our name." Greg asked " To what?" Then in a burst of creativity , which Im known for, I said " Strictly Thowed." Greg said, "Fool...I likes that." And from then we came to be known as Strictly Thowed.
