Once Okay Twice

Overview: We are an indie/rock/soul band from Washington, DC. We have a singer/keyboardist, bassist, drummer, guitarist, and violinist. Our singer/keyboardist has a degenerative muscle disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 3. We are involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association because of this and we play shows for MDA and various other charities. We work really hard and we are really nice people who want to make full time careers out of music. Our founding guitarist lives in LA and occasionally flies out to shows on the east coast. When this happens, we play with two guitarists. We've been incorporating more synth into our sound as time goes on. We have played most of the venues in the DC area and we play NYC every few months. Last summer we were fortunate enough to play on the VIP stage at Nissan Pavillion for the 311/Ziggy Marely concert. We were played a good deal on Local LIx last year, and we hope to be played again this year during the program.
