Overview: Sam Chase is a singer/songwriter, drummer, guitarist and producer from south of Boston. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in '08 and has been performing steadily ever since. He released his debut album Songs For Someone in June '08 which has been getting airplay on WMVY in Martha's Vineyard, has been featured on 92.5 The River in Boston, in addition to being a Top 10 Finalist in the 2009 Solarfest Songwriting Contest for his song "Never Give Up," held in Tinmouth, VT. Sam has been fortunate to share the stage with acts such as Rusted Root, Ryan Montbleau Band, Barefoot Truth, and many other talented musicians. Sam's music blends folk, rock and country into a smooth melodic sound. His music will bring to mind artists such as James Taylor, Marc Cohn and Jason Mraz, but the result is something entirely original.
