Overview: Last Tide is a DC-based rock band heavily influenced by the shoegaze and slowcore scenes, also drawing from punk, experimental music, and post-rock, among other sources. Their music is distinguished by a focus on strong melodies and carefully considered arrangements. In the short time since the band's inception, they have played shows throughout the northeast, performing with many notable regional and national acts, and showcasing at CMJ 2009. Their debut EP was released in October and is available via iTunes, Amazon, and other channels. They will be performing frequently throughout DC and other East Coast cities over the coming months.
