Sean Skyler is an up and coming singer/songwriter from Chicago. Sean's spent the past year playing nearly every venue in Chicago and opening for national acts like Everclear, Clayton Senne, and Mark Rose. Last summer he played Millennium Park sponsored by WTMX 101.9 the Mix and was selected for a back-to-school music download promotion for unsigned artists with Target Stores and Mead Notebooks.

In August, he tracked his debut full band Ep with veteran engineer/producer Michael Vail Blum (Madonna, Goo Goo Dolls, Julian Lennon). This will be Sean's first full band release, when asked about it he said, "I'm sitting on about 3 records worth of material and I'm writing more every day. I think this first release is a perfect introduction for what's to come. I can't wait to finally get it out there."

Sean is currently hitting the Chicago show circuit playing both intimate solo acoustic shows and clubs with his full backing band. Ultimately he has hopes to use this Ep as a building block even with current state of the economy.

"The industry is struggling just like every other business in town and the model is changing everyday. For someone like me, being at the grassroots level, it's difficult to market a record DIY and get people to care these days. But, I think these are the kind of songs people need to hear right now, positivity can be a contagious thing and It's that blind faith that has gotten me through the most difficult points of my life."
