Overview: I've always been profoundly interested in music. It's gotten me through the worst times and I hold firm beliefs that it's the very essence of my existence. A hip-hop artist coming from the Northwest Chicago Suburbs, I'm proving to people that outside the city limits it's not all cookies n' cream. There's an actual gutter backgroud in some of the spots located out here. My music is a reflection of who I've grown to be in twenty years of living. Though I may seem jaded and conceited most of the time, Small Time Crooked has an actual soul, and the depths of my soul cannot be fathomed. I experience the same things as everyone else-- Pain, pleasure, greed, envy, laziness. I no longer want to be the average guy from Chicago, I want to tell people what the average guy from Chicago is bound to see and experience growing up both in the city and in the suburbs. I want people to relate to everything I say and to know that someone is either hurting or partying right alongside with them.
