Overview: Born in Saginaw, MI, a little town where violence stretches from corner to corner and block to block. He's always been the entertaining type since the days of a child but he never knew that he had a voice for music. At the age of 20, you'd probably think that he's been on the mic for years and years when really, he's only been emceeing for 3 years. He started writing his own music in 2006, when a lot of mixtapes and non-creative music began to surface his hometown and the music industry. The name (M)A-Tee (pronounced M80) came from the military in which they used them for interrogation tactics or explosive matters. More than likely compared to C4, the M80 is mostly known (outside the military) for being a 4th of July firework.
